Swiss Exchange cuts trading fees

Low trading volumes and increasing competition is increasing downward pressure on the costs of all areas of the trading lifecycle

The Swiss Exchange has announced it will be slashing its trading fees in the New Year in a further sign of increasing competition and downward pressure on European trading costs.

SIX Swiss Exchange will be halving its transaction fee for trading in small and mid cap shares from January 1, as increasing competition in the European trading landscape continues to exert pressure on trading costs across the market.
