Synova Capital seals first exit from maiden fund

The sale of a healthcare firm paves way for second fund, which is due to launch at the end of the year

Synova Capital, the lower mid-market private equity firm co-founded by a former executive at Phoenix Equity Partners, has sealed its first exit from its maiden fund, paving the way for a second fund due to launch at the end of the year.

The London-based firm has sold DBG, a provider of outsourced healthcare support services to the UK primary care market, to Carlyle Group and mid-market investor Palamon Capital Partners.
