Taubman’s PJT pays $165m for shareholder adviser CamberView

PJT Partners, the banking boutique led by Wall Street dealmaker Paul Taubman, has bought a shareholder advisory firm run by the former head of corporate governance at BlackRock.

PJT said on Tuesday that it would acquire 100% of CamberView Partners for $165m. CamberView employs more than 40 staff in the US and UK and acts as an independent go-between for company boards and their investors.
