Airline stocks are set to make a major recovery if vaccines make it to distribution by December, with other sectors also in line for a rebound.

Health secretary Matt Hancock said on 10 November that a vaccine is predicted to arrive within “weeks”, rather than months, speaking a day after pharmaceutical firms Pfizer and BioNTech said their Covid-19 vaccine had achieved 90% efficacy in preventing infection.
