Thomas Murray and S&P launch custody rating service

S&P, the global financial information and credit ratings provider, and Thomas Murray, the specialist custody research, information provider and consultancy, have teamed up to offer a custody rating service.

The companies claim that the ratings will facilitate consistent comparisons and evaluations of custody services providers. The new service, called Global Custody Ratings (GCRs), assess the operational performance of global custodians.
