Threadneedle appoints Rosier to its board

Threadneedle Asset Management, the investment manager owned by American Express, has appointed David Rosier, former head of the private client business of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, as a non-executive director.

Rosier, who has worked in senior positions within asset management firms for 25 years, will be involved in the governance and management of Threadneedle's portfolio of businesses. He joins the board on June 1.
