Top Asian advisory banker to depart RBS

Royal Bank of Scotland's leading corporate and advisory banker for Asia is to step down in the next couple of months as it emerged that several senior staff in its investment banking division in Hong Kong are to depart.

Richard Orders has been head of RBS's corporate sectors and advisory group since the company acquired ABN Amro's investment banking unit last October. He was head of the Dutch bank's Asia Pacific operators for the past four years and head of corporate finance for the region prior to that.
