Top manager fees fail to generate growth

Putting money into one of the world's most expensive hedge funds last year was no guarantee of top performance and investors are challenging those managers that charge high fees.

Only five of 13 expensive hedge funds, identified by investors as charging more than 2% management fees and 20% performance fees, made a net return above the industry average.
