Tougher regulation helps SunGard to 22% revenue rise

Increased pressure to comply with tougher regulation regimes has boosted second quarter revenues at financial software firm SunGard by 22% to $899m (€733m).

Net income for the three months ended June 30 was $103m, up 14% over the second quarter of last year.
