Towerbrook pulls in $1.3bn

Towerbrook Capital Partners, which spun out of Soros Fund Management in 2004, is to hold a $1.3bn (€1.1bn) final close on its first fund as an independent firm this week. It will bring to $2.5bn the total amount of private equity assets now under management.

The 27-strong investment team is led by co-chief executives Ramez Sousou and Neal Moszkowski in London and New York.
