Tradeweb seizes hot market with $6bn IPO

Bond trading company will sell shares at $27 apiece

Online bond trading platform Tradeweb said it would sell shares at $27 apiece in its initial public offering on Thursday, capitalising on investors hungry for new issues.

The price tops the $24-to-$26 range Tradeweb had said it was targeting and values the company at $6bn. It had already upsized the deal this week in the face of high demand, and ultimately received orders for 17 times the number of offered shares, a person familiar with the matter said.
