Troup to leave Permira

Charlie Troup, a partner in Permira's London office, has become the latest member of its investment team to leave the private equity firm.

Troup, who joined ten years ago and became a partner in 2001, will leave Permira at the end of December. He worked on a series of buy-out transactions including Memec, a semiconductor distribution business and Holmes Place, the health club chain.
