Tullett Prebon legal costs continue to rise

London-based interdealer broker incurs further legal costs in 2013 as it continues to pursue long-running action against rival firm BGC Partners

Tullett Prebon, the interdealer broker, said it has incurred a further £6.8m in legal costs so far this year as it continues to pursue long-running action against rival firm BGC Partners over mass poaching.

The disclosure was made in an interim management statement, in which Tullett reported revenues of £239m - a 4% year-on-year decline - for the first four months of this year.
