UBS appoints new chief of European junk research

UBS has filled a year-long vacancy in its high-yield business by hiring Ronan Clarke from JP Morgan to be a director and its new head of European high-yield credit research.

Clarke replaces Rich Phelan, the former head of high-yield research, who left the bank about a year ago. Clarke was a high-yield research analyst at JP Morgan.
