One of UBS’ fastest-rising and most senior executives is leaving the Swiss bank to set up his own independent venture and is taking a dozen former colleagues with him.

Andre Esteves became UBS’ youngest regional head at 37 years old when the Swiss group bought Banca Pactual, where he was managing partner and owned a 30% stake, just over two years ago.
