UFG becomes first Russian member of the LSE

United Financial Group (UFG) has become the first Russian investment bank to become a member firm of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and has also been authorised as a member of the US National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).

The US authorisation means that the Russian bank can act as a full-service broker-dealer and underwrite initial public offerings, while UK approval allows it to trade as a principal with its clients.
