A split with the EU over settlement times could leave ETFs and eurobonds hanging

The UK is prepared to cut settlement times even if the EU doesn’t follow suit.

Contingency plans have been drawn up to transition to a so-called T+1 cycle regardless of whether EU makes the move at the same time, a UK taskforce has said.
