UK pension fund puts £580m of assets up for grabs

Buckinghamshire County Council's £770m (€1.22bn) pension fund is looking for one or several active investment houses to manage £580m of assets.

Merrill Lynch Mercury Asset Management and Morley Fund Managers, which is merging with Norwich Union Investment Management, currently manage the entire fund. The review follows a move by Buckinghamshire earlier this month, to tender a £210m passive mandate.
