UK regulator to simplify exams

The UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) is planning to abolish its current 500-plus exam list and offer in its place a single examination framework for individuals working in the financial services industry, which includes brokers, analysts, pension funds and fund managers.

David Jackman, head of industry training for the FSA, says: ' We are looking at creating the A-levels or baccalaureate exams of the financial services world.
