UK watchdog to revisit private equity firms

The UK markets regulator has begun to revisit private equity firms after a first set of visits last year raised concerns about compliance issues and lax anti-money laundering controls.

The second round of meetings between Financial Services Authority officials and partners at buy-out firms is in its early stages.
