UK wealth adviser fined over record keeping

UK-based wealth advisory boutique TBO Investments is the latest firm to be fined by the Financial Services Authority, the UK regulator, as a result of failing to document the risks of transactions to clients.

The fine, totalling £28,000, also followed a failure to keep records that demonstrate the suitability of its advice and proof that its business was conducted in accordance with FSA requirements.
