Under-fire LSE buoyed by fund listings

ICICI eyes $1.5bn property fund float

The London Stock Exchange, facing futher pressure on its share price after losing out to arch-rival NYSE Euronext in a race to develop Qatar's stock market, has received a boost to its business by notching up its 18th fund listing of the year.

Diamond Circle Capital, a closed-ended investment company that invests in high-quality diamonds, raised $75m (€48m) and listed on the LSE's main market today. UBS was sole bookrunner for the initial public offering.
