Vega fund 'drops 12% in a week'

A flagship fund run by Vega Asset Management Partners, a Spanish hedge fund manager, reportedly lost almost 12% of its value last week following losses of close to 10% in August.

Vega Select Opportunities, which stood at $3.6bn (€2.8bn) at the end of October last year, was reportedly down 11.8% last week, according to Reuters, quoting a note sent to investors.
