Vertex to step up investments after merging with Vickers

Vertex Ventures, the Singapore-based venture capital company, will increase the investments it makes in projects around the world after it merges with Vickers Capital.

Vertex's parent company Singapore Technologies paid S$409m (€257m) for Vickers, which will drop its consumer finance activities to concentrate on venture capital.
