Vespa Capital, a private equity firm founded by a former Montagu Private Equity executive, is nearing a final close on its latest lower mid-market fund.

The London-based firm, which is invested in James Villa Holidays, is expected to close its second fund imminently on its £100 million target, according a person familiar with the matter.
