Crispin Odey is to lose one of his top investors after 18 years with the firm

A senior partner in Crispin Odey's hedge fund is set to leave after 18 years, following a difficult 12 months for the London firm.

Feras Al-Chalabi, who ran Odey Asset Management's Allegra European and European Absolute Return fund, has decided to leave to pursue a "fresh challenge", according to a statement from the firm.
