Virtu Financial inks $1.4bn deal for KCG Holdings

High-speed trading firm Virtu Financial has reached a deal to acquire rival KCG Holding for $1.4 billion in cash, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The tie-up that will create an electronic trading giant responsible for around one-fifth of volume in US equities.
