Vision Capital bolsters US team

The hire comes as the firm aims to source more alternative-style secondaries deals

Vision Capital, one of the most established secondaries investors in Europe, has added to its New York team as it targets so-called end-of-life buyout funds at a time when US funds are increasingly looking to the second-hand private equity market for liquidity.

UK-based Vision has appointed Bordon Lai as a principal in an effort to build up the US team it launched in 2010, according to a statement. His hire takes the team to six, according to the firm's website.
