Weinberg investment house hit by FSA fine

Sir Mark Weinberg's investment company, St James's Place, has been fined £250,000 (€359,000) by the UK regulator after it failed to adequately monitor its team of advisers.

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) said that inadequate monitoring and record-keeping meant it was impossible to assess the suitability of products that St James's Place investors had been sold.
