Wells Fargo picks ex-Barclays banker Langley as Emea chief

US bank has lured John Langley out of retirement

Wells Fargo has lured former Barclays banker John Langley out of retirement and named him president of its business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Langley, who left Barclays in 2017, will take up the role at the US bank’s London office in July. He will also become president and head of corporate and investment banking in Emea.
