Wendel underperforms due to listed company exposure

Listed French buyout group Wendel has seen its net asset value drop 34% to €80 per share in the last year, due to stock price falls at its three main listed holdings.

In August last year, Wendel's NAV was €121 per share, but with more than 80% of its assets in listed companies, its first-half results has revealed it has been hit hard by falling share prices.
