Whitehead v Spitzer: a 'scary' tale

Former Goldman Sachs chairman John Whitehead claims Eliot Spitzer, New York State attorney general, threatened him during an April phone call after Whitehead wrote an editorial criticising Spitzer's attacks against insurer American International Group and its former chairman Maurice 'Hank' Greenberg. Spitzer denies this.

In a second op-ed piece, entitled "Scary" and published yesterday in The Wall Street Journal, Whitehead presented what he claimed was a transcript of what Spitzer said:
