Why Oakley Capital has not done a UK deal for five years

Oakley Capital, a UK-based mid-market buyout house, has not done a deal on home soil for more than five years.

David Till, one of the firm's founders, told a conference in London that Oakley has steered clear of UK companies because of increasing competition and a "huge" amount of capital chasing deals.
