Assets in Neil Woodford's flagship fund have plummeted by £2bn in the past six months, forcing the renowned investor to tweak his portfolio in order to meet redemption requests.

Woodford’s Equity Income fund posted outflows of £268.1m in February — the largest one-month amount since September, when £412m was withdrawn.
