A fledgling wealth boutique is looking to tap gold’s upward trajectory after the yellow metal reached new highs yesterday, driven by cautious investors seeking a safe haven for their cash.

Yellow Capital Wealth Management, launched by independent financial advisers Haydn Ellwood and Scott Sander, is a new fee-based wealth boutique in Mayfair with a strong belief in gold. Focused on private clients with a net worth in excess of £1m, it will allot every client between 10%-15% gold exposure in their portfolio. The rest of the portfolio will be traditional with a mixture of equities, bonds and funds.
